You will be responsible for developing strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales and increase profitability.RESPONSIBILITIESBuilds and maintains customer satisfaction with the product and services offered by the company.Maintain a happy, full, fresh and clean sales floor departmentEnsuring all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability per departmentFollow company marketing plan and ensuring product freshness, minimal shrink while optimizing salesCommunicating company, department and job specific information to all associatesAdhering to departmental and store budgets in alignment with Fiscal Year projectionsWriting the yearly budget in accordance with sale projections, labor/staffing needs etcCompleting weekly sales projection sheetsParticipating in departmental meetings, leadership meetings etc to ensure alignment on store growth and developmentHiring appropriate team members to fill store needs for maximum customer serviceEnsure pricing is accurate and following allocated budgetMaintain sales floor, preparation, equipment and storage areas that are clean, orderly and meeting company and health department standards at all timesCoordinate repair and maintenance work with vendors, equipment suppliers and techniciansEnsure timely and consistent training for new hires, promotions, performance opportunitiesServing as a coach and mentor to all team members; identifying and recommending teammates for higher levels of responsibilityRecommend and perform corrective steps for below acceptable teammate behaviors on the job in the absence of managementSchedule personnel to meet customer demands, while maintaining company budgets for all applicable departmentsAdhere to all company safety standardsPerform other duties as assigned by leadershipVarying temperature controlled retail environmentsScheduleFlexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays based on business needsUp to 25% TravelCompensation$72,000 - $83,000ExperiencePreferred: One (1) – three (3) years supervisory experiencePreferred: Five (5) years' grocery or equivalent experienceServeSafe certification or comparableSkillsPhysical abilities : May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature controlled environments; walking on a variety of flooring such as concrete, tile, carpet etcStrong communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basisOrganizational Skills: Ability to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesWorking in a team based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders timely and with the highest qualityQuality: Maintain integrity and high standards of product handling from all perspectivesSafety Culture: Maintain and drive safety policies; driving for accountability of safe practices throughout shiftJ-18808-Ljbffr
