Description:CANDIDATES MUST BE U.S. CITIZENFAA Assembly Mechanic - Level 1Shift: 1st Shift | 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM (Monday-Friday)Pay Rate: $21XXBonus Program: Up to $3,000 with updated payout structure:$1,000 at 14 days with perfect attendance$1,000 at 60 days$1,000 at 90 daysPosition OverviewAs an FAA Assembly Mechanic Level 1, you will play a vital role in assembling, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Your responsibilities include identifying parts for replacement, ordering new parts as needed, and ensuring all machinery operates correctly and safely.Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly: Build and assemble mechanical components to meet quality standards and specifications.Maintenance & Testing: Perform routine maintenance and conduct functionality and safety tests on equipment.Part Identification: Detect worn, damaged, or malfunctioning parts requiring replacement.Ordering: Place orders for necessary parts to maintain operational efficiency.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required; apprenticeship or formal training preferred.Experience: 0-2 years in a related field.Knowledge: Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.Supervision: Work under immediate supervision and follow established guidelines.Reporting: Typically report to a supervisor or manager.Special ConsiderationsPhysical Demands: Lifting up to 30 lbs without significant repetition.Exposure: Moderate exposure to machinery, chemicals, and physical risks.Equipment: Operation of powered industrial trucks (industrial/heavy).Additional NotesOvertime: Must be preapproved by Honeywell supervisor.Contract-to-Hire: Based on performance, attendance, and dependability.Start Date: Flexible based on onboarding and FAA clearance.Immediate Availability: Candidates should be ready to start upon onboarding completion.Safety Gear: Steel-toed footwear required.Citizenship: U.S. citizens only.TimekeepingWorker will use TWB for weekly time reporting.Supplier should register in Fieldglass on behalf of the worker (no direct access needed).Pre-screen questions:Interview QuestionsTechnical Skills:Can you describe your experience with assembling mechanical components and ensuring they meet quality standards?
