Data Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Data Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.This role will focus on building and optimizing data pipelines that move enterprise data efficiently across batch and low-latency environments. The Data Engineer will partner closely with engineering and analytics stakeholders to strengthen data accessibility, support application and reporting needs, and improve delivery through modern cloud-based practices. This position also brings an emphasis on AI-enabled development workflows, automated testing, and disciplined data transformation work.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annuallyResponsibilities Build and optimize batch and low-latency data pipelines from enterprise sources Use AI coding tools throughout the software development lifecycle Generate and validate automated tests for data quality assurance Document technical and data product information efficiently using AI Create coordinated workflows for improved data processing and delivery Develop SQL and Python solutions for data handling and transformations Ensure data accessibility for analytics and application needs through integrationQualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience 3+ years in data engineering or similar technical roles Proficiency in production-quality SQL and Python programming Experience with cloud data solutions, preferably Snowflake and dbt Familiarity with data modeling, ELT/ETL processes, and pipeline integration Knowledge of software engineering practices and CI/CD workflows Demonstrated use of AI tools in software development for various purposesBenefits Collaborative environment supporting innovative engineering solutions Emphasis on AI integration into day-to-day engineering tasks Opportunity to work with enterprise applications such as Salesforce Access to modern cloud data technologies like Snowflake and dbt Flexibility in participating in agile iterative delivery processesOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
