Operator, Forklift

The Warehouse Forklift Operator performs all tasks within the warehouse including timely loading & unloading of pickups and receipts, processing outbound SO and transfer shipments, as well as the processing of RMAs. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerforms all work in a safe manner, remain constantly aware of continuous improvement(s) for safety-related opportunitiesLoad and unload material in warehouses and storage facilitiesReceive materials and verify against packing slips to ensure accuracyPick shipments, palletize and package according to proceduresProcess shipping and receiving paperwork; record materials transferred/receivedMove delivered goods and materials to the appropriate location in the warehouseOrganize stored inventoryLook up material quantities using a computerized inventory systemKeep work area clean and organizedOther duties assigned by management.Work EnvironmentProduction areas have moderate to loud noise levels.Production areas are temperature controlled, which may include cold or hot environments.You may be required to work overtime, which may include Saturdays, or the possibility of working in another department as needed.Physical RequirementsThe physical requirements listed in this section include, but are not limited, to the motor/physical abilities and skills require of position in order to successfully undertake the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
