Director, Senior Manager, Manager, International Income Tax

We are expanding the International Income Tax Consulting practice throughout the U.S. and are seeking talented individuals at all levels, including Manager, Senior Manager, and Director. Candidates with strong technical knowledge of international income tax, either in public accounting or in the last 4 years, are invited to apply. Duties and Responsibilities Create a positive team experience. Assist in training and education of other team members. Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities. Travel to client locations globally as needed for planning meetings, fact gathering, and presentations. Lead the management of Work in Progress (WIP) reports and client billing. Participate in development of new international tax planning opportunities, including identification of opportunities, development of ideas, and presentation of those ideas to clients and targets. Work with colleagues globally and in other service lines such as Transfer Pricing, VAT, and State Income/Franchise Tax to develop and deliver custom solutions for multinational clients. Supervise tasks delegated to assigned staff and ensure effective integration into the final consulting product. Oversee accuracy, adequacy, and quality of consulting product. Participate in the preparation of Statement of Work and Proposals. Independently conduct tax research. Assist in management and administration of the U.S. International Income Tax practice as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or Economics required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Juris Doctor (JD), or Master of Taxation degree required. A minimum of five years’ experience in tax, with a heavy emphasis on international tax consulting, is necessary. Candidates must have excellent U.S. international tax technical skills and a deep familiarity with international tax laws and rules, especially those governing international trade and cross-border transactions of goods and services. A previous track record of excellent service delivery and working in a team environment is also necessary. Computer Skills Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. Certificates and Licenses Valid driver’s license required. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises employees in the International Income Tax practice and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Firm’s policies and applicable laws. Work Environment Standard indoor working environment. Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer. Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients both in person and via e-mail and telephone. Independent travel requirement: 30 to 50%, will vary by individual.
