The Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our LAN/WAN environment across multiple office locations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Design, configure, and manage enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access pointsImplement and maintain SD-WAN solutions connecting branch offices to corporate data centers and cloud environmentsManage firewall policies and VPN configurations (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) in accordance with security best practicesMonitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, and SNMP-based platformsPerform capacity planning and recommend infrastructure upgrades to support business growthTroubleshoot complex network issues including routing (BGP/OSPF), switching (VLANs, STP), and wireless connectivityImplement network access control (802.1X) and segmentation strategiesMaintain comprehensive network documentation including topology diagrams and IP address managementParticipate in on-call rotation for after-hours network incidentsCollaborate with security and systems engineering teams on cross-functional projectsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience4+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineeringStrong knowledge of Cisco IOS/NX-OS and at least one enterprise firewall platformExperience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Meraki, or equivalent)Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching (VLANs, STP, LACP)Cisco CCNA certification required; CCNP preferredExperience with network monitoring and management toolsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Cisco CCNP Enterprise certificationPalo Alto PCNSA or PCNSE certificationExperience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet)Python or Ansible scripting for network automationExperience with Zero Trust Network Architecture *The salary reflected is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay rate for this position ranges from $95,000 - $125,000. Pay varies by work location and may also depend on job -related knowledge, skills, experience and abilities of the successful candidate.
