Job DescriptionField Service Technician - Press Brake SpecialistElgin, IL | Full-Time | National TravelAbout the RoleWe are seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician with strong experience servicing CNC press brake equipment.This role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining advanced machinery at customer sites.What You'll DoReport to the local facility and travel to customer sites for service workInstall, service, and repair:Press Brakes (primary focus)Fiber Lasers (20-30%)Shears (minimal)Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with a strong emphasis on:Electrical systems (70%)Mechanical systems (30%)Identify root causes and implement solutions in the fieldPerform machine prove-out and testing prior to installationSupport setup, calibration, and commissioning at customer sitesTrain customers on machine operation and basic troubleshootingDocument service work and maintain clear communication with customersWhen not on service calls, work in-house preparing machines for installRequirements3+ years press brake experience (required)Strong troubleshooting ability (hydraulic + electrical)Ability to read schematicsSelf-driven and customer-focusedNice to HavePLC troubleshootingDelem or similar CNC controlsSheet metal fabrication backgroundBenefitsCompetitive payHealth, dental, visionPTO + holidaysPlease submit a resume for consideration.
