This position is focused on providing tenants with timely repairs inside and outside of employee housing units. This position performs carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, snow removal, painting, carpet installation, cleaning and all other routine facility maintenance and construction tasks. This position reports to the Facilities Manager.Job Posting DeadlineApplications for this position will be accepted until May 1, 2026.Essential Job Functions/Key Job ResponsibilitiesPreparation and maintenance of employee housing units, including moving furnitureMaintain common areas of all buildings in a presentable manner, keeping all walkways, lobbies, laundry rooms, etc. cleanResponsible for lawn and landscape maintenance in the summer and snow and ice removal in the winter, in addition to trash removal year roundGeneral upkeep of facility equipment and basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of facility equipment and toolsObserve safety and security procedures, reporting all safety hazards and suspicious persons or activities to management and adhering to all safety standards set by the department and company along with local, city and state lawsAssist in the event of an emergency and/or security event as directed by management.Comply with all policies and procedures for the department, and Aspen One.Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand.Will assist with other Facility Management and Aspen One functions as needed.Other duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferredMust be 18 years or olderMust have a valid, current, and unrestricted Driver's LicenseAdditional InformationKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesProficient knowledge of fire and safety proceduresKnowledge of company rules, regulations, and operational standardsProficient knowledge in building maintenance, construction or similar skilled trade is preferredProficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing to team members and customersProficient mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of facility equipment and toolsProficient with all hand, power and pneumatic tools and the ability to use them safely, and must maintain all tools in a clean and orderly condition while maintaining a clear, uncluttered work areaProficient maintenance skillsProficient with carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, snow removal, painting, carpet installation, cleaningAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyAbility to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goalsAbility to do basic problem-solvingAbility to identify straightforward issues and propose simple solutionsAbility to operate and maintain an Aspen One company truck as necessaryAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionWork Environment & Physical DemandsAbility to reach, crouch, kneel, stand or be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of timeRegularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfacesMust be able to regularly lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistanceJob BenefitsThis position is categorized as a regular full-time position eligible for the following benefits:Enrollment dates differ across the various programs.This position is classified as a part time seasonal position eligible for the following benefits:Enrollment dates differ across the various programs.Paid Time Off ProgramsPaid Leave ProgramsEmployee Ski PassOther company perksThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
