Welder/Fabricator - Production

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to join various metals including sheet metal and pipe components. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts. Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely to move heavy materials or finished products within the production area. Measure dimensions accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools; apply basic math skills for calculations related to fabrication tolerances. Conduct quality inspections on welds and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards and client specifications. Assist in mechanical assembly, pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and soldering tasks as needed for various projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven construction site experience or hands-on fabrication background preferred. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques; experience with welding is a plus. Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and machining tools. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication processes. Ability to operate rigging gear safely; experience with forklift operation is desirable. Mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, assembly procedures, and ductwork fabrication. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations; experience with calipers and micrometers essential.
