2nd Shift Canning Line Operator - Beverage Manufacturing

Fortress Nutrition is actively hiring for a 2nd Shift Canning Line Operatorto work on our Beverage Canning Line team.The right candidate will have previous experience in machine operating (preferably in the food and beverage industry, not required), and have stable work history with previous employers. Must be able to accountable to the Company's need for overtime & weekend work as required.Training Hours:2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm - Monday-Friday (not eligible for OT until trained, once trained OT and weekends are mandatory based on production schedule)Standard Hours: 2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm (12:30am) Monday-Friday; OT and Weekends (mandatory based on production schedule)Job Summary: Working as part of the Beverage Operations team, the Canning Line Operator is responsible for operating the high-speed canning/beverage production line equipment and creating, producing, and packaging products while collaborating within a team of peers.What You'll Do:Setup, operate and maintain all canning line equipment, including filler, seamer, and packing equipment to ensure quality and efficiency of product outputTroubleshoot any/all issues immediately as they arise on the high-speed canning machinery, including the filler, seamer, packing equipmentDocument all canning line and repack QA checks for accuracy following Good Documentation PracticesNotify maintenance of any equipment/mechanical issues and necessary repairs with strong sense of urgency to minimize production delaysSafely, efficiently and effectively work to attain department and company goals and objectivesAdhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure equipment and product quality is maintained at all timesPerform all duties with strict attention-to-detail to ensure product is packaged properly and efficiently, meeting all client requirements and output standardsPerform physical inventory of packaging materials and notify supervision of replenishment needs in a timely mannerCommunicate all production-related concerns and matters to the supervisor as they arise for immediate attentionPerform all other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking For:High School Diploma or GED equivalent required1+ year of machine operating experience, preferably on high-speed packaging equipment, is requiredPrevious experience in the food/beverage industry, with an understanding of food safety & quality requirements, is strongly desiredKnowledge and ability to understand, operate and troubleshoot high-speed production line equipmentMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to work overtime and occasional Saturdays or Sundays as needed to fulfill production needsFrequently required to stand; walk; talk or hear; reach above shoulders; use hands to finger, handle, grasp, pinch or touch objects, controls, tools or equipment; kneel, crouch and use foot/feet to operate machineryOccasionally required to lift, carry, move, push or pull materials, product or equipment up to 50 pounds; bend at the waist; climb or balanceAbility to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to ten (10) or more hours in a single shiftWhy Fortress Nutrition - Check out our Benefits & Perks!!2nd Shift Canning Line Operator Pay: $20.00 per hour + $1.00 Shift PremiumPaid Time Off (PTO) Package9 Paid HolidaysDouble Time Pay For 50+ Hours Per Week!Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision InsuranceHSA Plan Option with Quarterly Company ContributionCompany Paid Life & AD&D Insurance & Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance401(K) Plan with Company Match & Aggressive ROIEmployee Assistance Program$1,000 Referral Bonus - Uncapped!...and more!To apply for this position, please email your resume directly to Fortress Nutrition is an equal opportunity employer.
