With the generous support of our donors and retail customers, we are changing lives through the power of work.Position Summary:Responsible for receiving, documenting, and routing merchandise designated for online sales. Assist in maintaining operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, etc., to ensure merchandise is processed quickly and accurately to support online listings and salesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:• Receive incoming merchandise designated for online sales.• Document the items received.• Assist with moving equipment and keeping the incoming merchandise organized.• Ensure merchandise is handled safely to prevent damage during staging and transfer.• Stage incoming merchandise in designated areas according to production workflow requirements.• Route items to appropriate production teams such as pricing, photography, etc.• Monitor staging areas to ensure items are not delayed or misplaced during the workflow process.• Perform housekeeping duties across assigned areas, ensuring spaces remain clean, safe, and free of clutter.• Assist in maintaining the safety and security of GWH associates and company property.• Perform necessary janitorial work.• Must report all work incidents and injuries immediately.• Performs other duties as assigned by management.Additional Responsibilities:• Demonstrate professionalism, good judgment, and present a friendly, cooperative attitude.• Ability to multitask, make quick decisions, adapt to change, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.• Adheres to all GWH Policies & Procedures, Loss Prevention & Safety Regulations, and GWH Guiding Principles.• Must be punctual, dependable, and maintain a professional appearance.• Maintain a high level of confidentiality.• Must perform work safely; maintain good housekeeping standards, and ensure all aisles and pathways to fire exits are clear and free of clutter.• Adheres to local, state, and federal laws and regulations.Minimum Qualifications:• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.• Prior warehouse experience is preferred.• Excellent organizational skills and must be detail-oriented.• Good computer skills (proficient in Microsoft).• Must have reliable transportation.Key Performance Indicators (KPI):Number of merchandise items successfully processed through intake per day/week/month.Average time from receipt to staging.Percentage of intake records entered correctly, without errors.Safety CultureTimely GWH LMS completion (training, etc.)Physical Requirements/Work Environment:• Ability to stand, twist, bend, squat, reach, kneel, push, and pull.• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and, occasionally, lift/move items up to 100 lbs.• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.• Moderate indoor noise with periodic exposure to outside temperatures.
