Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Contract Opportunity Terrell, TX | Part-Time | 3+ Month Assignment | Immediate Start Available Protouch Staffing is seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a rewarding contract opportunity at a specialized behavioral health facility in Terrell, Texas . Position HighlightsSchedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (flexible scheduling available)Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMAssignment Length: Minimum 3 months with strong potential for extensionPosition Type: Part-Time Pay: $61/hrStart Date: As soon as all credentialing and compliance requirements are completed Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with communication and dysphagia disorders.Perform ongoing reassessments and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and physician recommendations.Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes accurately and within required timeframes.Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and strategies to improve functional communication and safe swallowing.Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with applicable healthcare standards and best practices. QualificationsMaster's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.Current, unrestricted Texas Speech Language Pathologist license.Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.Strong knowledge of dysphagia assessment and treatment techniques.Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with patients experiencing behavioral health and complex medical conditions.
