Job DescriptionStandard Builders Inc is actively seeking applicants for an experienced pipe layer.Duties includeInstalling and repairing sanitary and stormwater pipe and structuresRigging concrete and plastic pipeCutting pipes to required lengthsUse of compaction equipmentDesired Skills IncludeFamiliarity with pipe laser use, ability to read plans and calculate gradesFamiliarity with excavation for underground pipingAssembly and install underground pipe, fittings, and valves of various sizesUse of hand signals to direct equipment operator and alert to hazardsComply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.Requirements:P6 License or greater.Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy civil and industrial environments.Ability to pass a background check is required.The ideal candidate also has gas installation experience.Union benefits available and, because of our client base, the opportunity to work year-round is consistent.Company DescriptionStandard Builders is a mid-size construction company providing services to the private sector, to a collection of highly respected clients in commercial, higher education and health care.
