Construction & Installation WorkerA Construction & Installation worker at Atlas, your duties and responsibilities will include following a client-approved scope of work for basic tenant improvement to an existing site to include, but not limited to, the following: Removing existing walls, flooring, ceilings, fixtures, and other structures within the designated space. Cleaning up debris, sweeping floors, and preparing the work area for new construction. Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials like lumber, drywall, and other building supplies to the worksite. Assisting in the setup and dismantling of scaffolding and temporary support structures. Assisting with framing, drywall, paint, wallpaper applications and pre-fabricated ornamental carpentry finishes per client requested specifications. Installing shelving and retail fixtures, signage and graphics as well as performing other manual labor as directed. Removing debris and waste from the work area throughout the construction process. Requirements: Ability to lift up to 80lbs. Comfortable with climbing and working on a ladder. Experience and knowledge using a variety of both hand and power tools such as drills, impact driver, saws, etc. Experience with a pallet jack, scissor lift and forklift operation. Complete assignments timely with high-quality output while keeping a clean and organized work environment. Basic understanding of how to read and understand blueprints. Understand basic building codes and procedures as well as current work safety standards.
