Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented bilingual Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products and materials to fulfill customer orders, ensuring timely and efficient order processing. Duties
Utilize barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to accurately pick items according to order specifications.
Operate material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, replenishing supplies, and maintaining organized storage areas.
Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and packing to prepare items for shipment.
Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit while adhering to safety protocols.
Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment while following safety procedures and PPE guidelines.
Conduct quality control checks on picked items to verify accuracy and completeness before dispatch.
Support shipping & receiving processes by coordinating with warehouse supervisors for smooth operations.
Maintain accurate records within warehouse management systems (WMS) for order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
Assist in warehouse distribution activities, including stock rotation and inventory reconciliation.
Qualifications
Bilingual
Proven experience in warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, shipping & receiving.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning, RF scanners, and inventory management systems.
Experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment processes.
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements.
Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across various functions.
