About the JobAssistant Program DirectorNew Program Launch - Leadership OpportunitySalary: $65,000 annuallyWe are excited to launch a new program and are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Program Director (APD) to join our leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a growing program while supporting staff and ensuring high-quality, ethical services for individuals served.If you are a strong leader with experience in behavioral health or IDD services and are ready to take the next step in program leadership, we encourage you to apply.What You'll Do:Leadership & Staff Management:Provide supervision and support to Site Supervisors, Program Specialists, Medical Staff, and Direct Support Professionals.Oversee daily operations and ensure consistent implementation of individual service plans.Partner in recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new staff.Support staff training, development, and performance management, including progressive discipline when necessary.Model professionalism, accountability, and alignment with organizational values.Quality Assurance & Compliance:Review documentation in preparation for internal and external audits.Support compliance with licensing, regulatory, and funder requirements.Ensure services are delivered ethically, professionally, and in accordance with agency standards.Program Operations & Crisis Support:Assist the Program Director in maintaining operational and financial compliance.Provide leadership and intervention during crisis situations.Foster an environment that empowers individuals through skill development and coordinated resources.Contribute to strategic program growth and operational excellence.What We're Looking For:Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field (required).Minimum of 5 years' experience in mental health and/or IDD direct service.At least 2 years of supervisory experience.Skills & Competencies:Strong leadership and team development skills.Knowledge of regulatory compliance and documentation standards.Effective communicator with strong problem-solving abilities.Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle.Ability to pass required employment screenings, including FBI clearance (if applicable).Why Join This New Program?Competitive salary of $65,000 annuallyOpportunity to help build and shape a new program.Collaborative leadership team.Meaningful work supporting individuals in behavioral health/IDD services.Professional growth and advancement opportunities.About the Company
