We are currently seeking a professional, high-energy Medical Scribe to join our clinical team in Plano.Job SummaryThe Medical Scribe acts as a personal assistant to the physician, performing all clinical documentation in real-time within the Electronic Health Record (EHR). By handling the clerical duties of patient encounters, you allow our providers to focus exclusively on patient care and clinical decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesReal-Time Documentation: Accompany the provider during patient exams to record the History of Present Illness (HPI), Review of Systems (ROS), Physical Exam findings, and the Assessment/Plan.EHR Management: Navigate and maintain patient charts within eClinicalWorks (eCW), ensuring all lab results, imaging, and consult notes are correctly documented and accessible.Specialty Support: Assist in documenting OB-specific data, including prenatal flowsheet updates, ultrasound findings, and gynecological procedure notes.Bilingual Assistance: Provide Arabic/English interpretation to ensure clear communication between the provider and the patient regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.Efficiency Management: Prepare daily charts in advance and ensure that all "pending" items from previous visits are updated for the provider's review.Required QualificationsExperience: At least 1 year of professional experience as a Medical Scribe.Software Proficiency: At least 1 year of hands-on experience utilizing eClinicalWorks (eCW) is mandatory.Language: Fully bilingual in English and Arabic (must be able to translate medical terminology accurately in both languages).Skills: Fast and accurate typing (minimum 60 WPM) and a strong grasp of medical terminology and human anatomy.Professionalism: Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and maturity when handling sensitive women's health issues.Preferred QualificationsExperience specifically within an OB-GYN or Women's Health clinical setting.Intent to pursue a future career in healthcare (Pre-Med, Pre-PA, or Nursing).BenefitsCompetitive hourly compensation based on experience.Opportunity for clinical shadowing and professional development in a specialized medical field.PTO discussed after 90 days
