VP Enterprise Analytics (Candidate Identified)
This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the execution of the company’s comprehensive data strategy and fostering a data-driven culture across the organization. Strategic initiatives will be focused on driving departmental objectives, which include evaluating the company’s data visualization systems and assisting in implementing a data management strategy.
The VP, Enterprise Analytics will actively engage with business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify core business requirements and suggest modifications to improve accuracy and consistency, while enhancing customer service. This position will work with The Inland Real Estate Group’s Information Technology team and other Inland entities to assist with the planning and implementation of an effective approach to meeting Inland’s enterprise analytics. The role requires outstanding communications skills and the ability to establish good working relationships with individuals at all levels of the firm. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated industry leader that inspires others to use data to improve the decision-making process.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in developing and executing a comprehensive enterprise analytics strategy aligned with organizational objectives
Lead the transformation and adoption of the enterprise analytics function across the organization
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of reporting dashboard and companywide analytics
Manage industry-leading analytics tools and platforms. Drive innovation in areas like predictive analytics, AI, and machine learning
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of analytics professionals
Partner with business leaders to optimize customer-focused growth
Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reports for departmental and company-wide performance
Assist with developing data governance, data management, and data protection practices across the organization
Work with business partners to understand, analyze, and document detailed functional requirements to support business outcomes.
Influences business partners towards alignment with Inland’s data vision and strategic data objectives, while building effective working relationships with leaders and business SME’s.
Assist in developing procedures for enterprise analytics and ensure appropriate data governance, data recovery, and risk support.
Partner with other teams and groups to leverage and integrate enterprise software as needed. Iterate solutions through an adaptive-agile cycle; works with team members to resolve any issues.Demonstrate the highest standards of personal and professional integrity, adhere to company’s policies and procedures, and comply with applicable laws, government rules and regulations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position will have supervisory responsibilities. Direct reports include, but are not limited to, (1) Business Intelligence Analyst
QUALIFICATIONS:Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, data science, computer science or related field
Master’s degree in a data analytics is preferred
Experience/Skills:
10+ years of experience in enterprise analytics or related field
7+ years of experience in financial services, alternatives, private equity and/or real estate, with associated knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends and the ability to apply this knowledge to Inland’s operational/business needs.
Proven track record of leveraging data to drive business impact
Expert knowledge of analytics platforms, business intelligence tools, and statistical techniques
Strong understanding of CRMs, marketing performance measurement, and customer value analytics
Experience with data visualization tools and presenting insights to senior leadership
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
Strong technical and business analysis skills. Must be driven and focused on business outcomes and delivery of business value.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
Expertise in data visualization tool such as tableau and Power BI
Knowledge of experimental design and A/B testing methodologies
Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in business
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook are required for this position.
Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL
Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot, are a plus
