LPN Clinical Nurse

LPN PositionThe LPN is responsible for administering nursing care to patients via the nursing process; assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating. The nurse also instructs patients and significant others in health care practices, working in collaboration with other health team members.Minimum qualifications include:Experience gained through an approved School of Nursing plus an appropriate period of hospital orientation to the assigned patient care area and to personnel.Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.Must possess a current Indiana license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.Ability to type 30 wpm with 6 errors or less.Skilled to care for certain age-related patient groups including all age groups: adolescence (13-17 years), infants (0-1 year), geriatric (65+ years), pediatric/early childhood (1-12 years), and adult (18-64 years).
