JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: Maintenance Planner/SchedulerLocation: Louisville, KYJob Type: Office/On-site (95%), Travel (5%)Reports to: Facility ManagerDepartment: North American OperationsPosition Purpose: Plan, Schedule, Production Equipment PM workflow and balancing.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.Works safely at all times.Follow all safety rules/guidelines/policies established Leadec and our customer.Assist in preparation of detailed work packages and job plans that include equipment, parts, materials, documentation, and special tools and for the delivery of these parts and services when they are neededSupports the Facility Manager in maintaining an appropriate backlog of effectively planned work ready for scheduling when maintenance resources are availableMaintains established metrics of performance to ensure the maintenance function continues to improveAssist with parts inventory, materials, special tools, and personnel requirements for the department.Assist with the planning activities for all maintenance work orders in CMMS (MAXIMO)Assist the maintenance manager with maintaining estimate for craft hours, labor, and material costs for each work orderRoutinely meets with the Facility Manager and Customer Leadership to ensure work order priorities are established and the appropriate work packages completed and availablePerform periodic audits on preventative maintenance plans and make corrections as needed.Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.Competencies:Managing TasksOpen CommunicationSelf-ManagementKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Communication Skills - Ability to communicate with all levels of Leadec and customer employees.Language Ability -- Talking to others to convey information effectively.Customer Service Orientation - Satisfying customers.Adaptability - Willingness to deal with unexpected challenges or circumstances.Problem Solving - Defining problems and bring about viable solutions.Leadership -- Strives to delegate, balance workloads and achieve consensus; has a flexible yet effective management style.Proven multi-tasking capabilities, ability to plan, prioritize and manage projects under aggressive timelines.Effectively create and maintain records and documentation.Attention to detailProcedural CompliancePosition Qualifications:High school diplomaTechnical Maintenance Background.5-10 years of related experienceCMMS systems skills (Maximo required).Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
