This position will support the design and drafting of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and related engineered systems for a variety of commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare, and other facility projects.The ideal candidate will have a background in drafting and design through technical education and/or practical experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD is required, and experience with Revit and BIM-based design workflows is strongly preferred.This position offers opportunities to grow from drafting support into increasingly complex design responsibilities under the guidance of experienced engineers and designers.Key Responsibilities:
Create and revise mechanical engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
Support the design of HVAC, plumbing, and related building systems.
Assist engineers and designers with project drafting, modeling, and documentation.
Participate in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project collaboration.
Maintain accurate project drawings and design records.
Grow technical knowledge and design skills through training and mentorship.
Requirements:Education or experience in engineering drafting and design
Proficiency with AutoCAD (required)
Experience with Revit/BIM workflows (preferred)
Interest in building mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and related engineered systems
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to project teams
Ability to support project goals and milestones established by project leadership
Ability to learn and apply mechanical design criteria, engineering standards, and applicable building codes
