You will be involved in the design and development of enhancements to our custom Sales and Demand Planning application, used to drive our global sales forecast. Along with writing clean, scalable and high performing code, you’ll be deeply involved with maintaining and optimizing our data and data analytic strategy. Our stack includes node.js, MS SQL Server, AngularJS, Vue and MongoDBDuties And ResponsibilitiesRESTful API developmentAsynchronous node.js codingAngularJS and Vue front-end developmentBuild reusable code and libraries for future useOptimize application for maximum performance and scalabilityImplement security and data protectionDesign and implement data storage solutionsCollaborate with team in solving complex problemsAble to work independently on assigned tasksFollow, enhance, and contribute to group coding standards and best practices around documentation, code-formatting, source-controlAssist in query tuning for optimization in SQL Server using native tools and\or 3rd partyAttributes And SkillsExpert level JavaScript programming, including Node and AngularJSSignificant SQL development and modelingOwn tasks to completion in a detailed-oriented, methodical mannerDemonstrate excellent oral and written communicationApproach new problems systematicallyEmbrace challenges and enjoy solving problemsPursue and learn new skill setsPrioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently with tight timelinesEducation And ExperienceBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is preferred5 to 7 years of Internet development experience 5+ years of SQL query and stored procedure development experience Deep understanding of modern single-page MVC frameworksExperience integrating multiple data sources and databases into one systemProficient knowledge of a back-end programming language, especially JavaScript In depth knowledge of SQL Server and experience across versions 2014, 2019 and AzureProficient understanding of GitHubBonus SkillsIn depth knowledge of the SDLC, particularly Agile methodologiesExperience programming with BI toolsExperience with Python and RabbitMQExperience with MongoDBKnowledge of wholesale distribution, retail, or manufacturing industry is also a plusSalary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below.
