Electrical Engineering DesignerSelectek has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineering Designer to add to our client's team. In this role, you'll design solutions for lighting, power, and electrical distribution systems for retail renovations, expansions, and new facility projects. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, a passion for design excellence, and the ability to collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients in an integrated team environment.Job Duties:Be the Electrical discipline lead for assigned projects.Design, coordinate, and utilize Revit to produce lighting, power, and electrical distribution construction documents for building and facility projects.Develop designs in compliance with applicable industry standards and building codes, including the NEC, energy codes, Life Safety Code, International Codes (I-Codes), and local amendments.Perform electrical engineering calculations including photometric, voltage drop, load analysis, and fault current.Select and specify electrical equipment.Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.Represent the Electrical discipline in project meetings.Perform site observations and or evaluate point cloud scans as required to document existing/installed conditions.Participate in multi-discipline QC reviews.Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and scope of work.Required:Associate's Degree3+ years of power and lighting design for facilitiesProficiency in electrical distribution system, power, and lighting designRevit ProficiencyKnowledge of building, energy, electrical, and life-safety codesPreferred:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringExperience with SKM Tools & Arc Flash studies (ETAP, EasyPower or similar)EIT or PESome Benefit Information:Excellent Health, Dental and Vision Insurance401(k) with Company Match (up to 4%)Employer Health Savings Account (HSA) Bi-monthly ContributionNine (9) Paid holidays plus a Floating HolidayOffice Closed Between Christmas and New YearsGenerous Paid Time Off with One Week of Carry-Over (40 hour max.)Paid Parental Leave (6 weeks primary care giver / 2 weeks secondary care giver)Quarterly Profit Share (when performance metrics are met)Half-day FridaysPaid Surface ParkingGym Membership StipendCommunity Volunteer Time OffProfessional Organization Dues PaidLicensure and Continuing Education Fees PaidSalary Range:$55,000 - $80,000Term of assignment:Direct HireLocation of job:Tulsa, OK, Bentonville, AR or FULLY Remote (in states below)Hours and shift:7:30-5:30 Monday to Thursday, Half days on FridayWork from home:They did not want to get into specifics.
