Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Facilities/Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance and repair services at all Credit Union locations. This role supports the efficient operation, safety, and appearance of facilities and equipment through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across multiple trades.Essential Job FunctionsMaintenance & Repair Services (100%)Perform electrical repairs and troubleshoot electrical issues, including ballasts, switches, receptacles, and safety lightingPerform preventative maintenance, modification, and replacement of HVAC equipmentPerform plumbing repairs and troubleshoot plumbing problems, including water heaters, faucets, flush valves, and drainsInstall, modify, and repair conduit runsPerform lock work, including repairing/replacing locks and changing combinationsPerform carpentry repairs on furniture, doors, cabinets, desks, and chairsPerform drywall repair including re-spackling, re-texturing, and repainting walls and ceilingsClean ATMs and exterior areas such as sidewalks and asphaltPerform additional maintenance duties including carpet cleaning, light bulb replacement, and general facility repairsMaintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipmentEnsure company vehicles are regularly cleaned and servicedComplete maintenance projects and communicate status to stakeholders as neededAssist with relocating employees, departments, and equipmentOperate a motor vehicle to reach work destinationsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesGeneral knowledge of: HVAC systemsElectrical systems and live electrical troubleshootingPlumbing systemsLock mechanisms and security hardwareCarpentry and construction techniquesDrywall repair and finishingSkilled in the use of electrically powered hand toolsAbility to troubleshoot building electrical and mechanical systemsGeneral knowledge of CMMS softwareProficient with computers, including operating systems, word processing, and internet/intranet useStrong verbal communication skills with employees at all levelsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsAbility to maintain a valid Nevada driver's licenseAbility to maintain regular and reliable attendanceAbility to lift up to 55 poundsAbility to work collaboratively, accept constructive feedback, and interact professionally with coworkers and vendorsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum three (3) years of maintenance experience , including HVAC, CCTV, electrical, plumbing, lock work, drywall, and carpentry
