Come join our team!A day-in-the-life of an ACG Car Care Technician:ACG Car Care Technicians complete routine scheduled maintenance service on automobiles and trucks, as directed by a manager or Service Advisor. They spend their day performing basic automotive repair, adjustments and maintenance procedures, including, but not limited to; oil changes, tire replacement & repairs and general vehicle maintenance.In this role, Automotive Service Techs will also have the opportunity to :Drive vehicles into service bays, prepare them for, and complete digital vehicle inspectionPerforms general automotive maintenance and repairsTest drive vehicles and prepare vehicles for delivery to customers, after necessary repairs and maintenance are completeKeep the shop clean and organized to ensure a positive member/customer experienceLearn from Technician A, B, and C colleagues to further advance your careerTechnician C:All General Service Tech opportunities plus:Perform automotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair ordersComplete fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, basic repair, and maintenance services, etc.Technician B:All Tech C opportunities plus:Work with, mentor, and train less experienced TechniciansPerforms all Service Technician C duties plus advanced repair and maintenance services.Technician A:All Tech B opportunities plus:Work with, mentor, and train less experienced TechniciansComplete electrical repairs, diagnostic repairs, drivability diagnostics, etc.How We Reward Our EmployeesYou know compensation goes way beyond take-home pay. AAA offers best in class benefits including, but not limited to following:Pay rates starting at (rate based on experience + annual bonus eligibility)General Service Tech: $15 - $ 17 hourlyC Technician:$17 - $25 hourly, based on productionB Technician:$40,000 - $70,000+; hourly base with a weekly production bonus opportunity.A Technician:$65,000 - $110,000+; hourly base with a weekly production bonus opportunity.Excellent medical, dental, vision and prescriptionFree AAA membershipUp to 3 weeks of vacation in your first year10 paid holidays (Includes two half day holidays)We offer 401k with matching contributions :Automatic 4% 401K employer contributionAdditional 401K match of 50% up to 6% contribution(6% personal contribution, 50% match = 3% company contribution + 4% automatic company contribution = 7% of your annual income)We are committed to work-life balanceClosed SundaysShorter workdays than competitors (we close at 6pm)Monday Friday, hours are 7:30am-6pmSaturday, hours are 8am to 4pmClosed major holidaysWe are looking for candidates who:All Service Techs:Have a High School diploma, GED, or Technical school certificationPossess a valid driver's licenseHave mechanical aptitudeAre knowledgeable about automotive and/or truck systems, tools, and technical resources, and can independently perform a variety of basic repairs and maintenance of automobile and truck vehiclesUnderstand and consistently demonstrate the proper use of equipment and tools used in such repair and maintenance, and the need to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Can consistently provide exceptional customer service and improve customer service scoresPreferred General Service Tech Qualifications:G1-Auto Maintenance & Light Repair preferredState inspection certificate where applicableAC 609 CertificationTechnician C:All General Service Tech requirements plus :Minimum of 6 months relevant experience in automotive repair or completion of formal automotive training program.Preferred C Tech Qualifications:All General Service Tech preferred qualifications plus:ASE Certifications (or their equivalent). A4-Suspension & Steering, A5-BrakesAC 609 CertificationTechnician B:All C Tech requirements plus :3 years or more of experience repairing vehicles at a dealership or automotive centerPreferred B Tech Qualifications:All C Tech preferred qualifications plus:Two other ASE certifications (or their equivalent)AC 609 CertificationTechnician A:All B Tech requirements plus :5 years or more of experience repairing vehicles at a dealership or automotive centerPreferred A Tech Qualifications:All B Tech preferred requirements plus:ASE Certifications (A1 A8) with Master Technician designation or the equivalent combination of technician certifications and ASE certifications.ASE certification L1-Advanced Engine Performance SpecialistAC 609 CertificationWork EnvironmentMay experience loud noises and odors intermittently in the shop environment.This position involves standing, walking and normal physical mobility, including reaching, grabbing, lifting and carrying automotive parts and equipment (averaging up to approximately 80 pounds in weight)Must have own tools appropriate for their skill level for use in the center.Must be able to work in the heat, as some locations
