Electrician Journeyman
Position Title: Electrician JourneymanLocation: Warren, OhioClearance Requirements: NoneShift: Mon – Fri 1st ShiftPay Rate: Competitive, based on experiencePosition DescriptionJoin a dynamic team as a Journeyman Electrician supporting industrial and commercial electrical systems in Warren, Ohio. This on-site role offers the opportunity to work on electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs within a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining facility electrical distribution systems, electronics, automation, and lighting, adhering to all safety and code standards. This role provides a pathway from contract to permanent employment for qualified professionals.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, connect, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, conduit, and devices for lighting, machinery, and building equipment.Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus including transformers, motors, MCC panels, variable frequency drives, and lighting fixtures.Maintain electrical distribution equipment, including 277/480 VAC, 120/208 VAC, and 120/240 VAC systems.Replace electronic components such as printed circuit boards, relays, and control switches.Maintain and repair building lighting, emergency lighting, outlets, and exterior lighting controls.Plan wiring layouts and install electrical systems in compliance with NEC and local codes.Perform preventative maintenance on electrical utilities and equipment.Complete accurate documentation and maintain a clean, organized work environment.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent; Completion of an approved Apprenticeship Program.Minimum of 4 years of relevant electrical work experience.Valid driver’s license and applicable electrical certifications/licenses.Ability to read and interpret safety instructions, manuals, and technical documents.Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of motor controls, low voltage, fire alarm, and voice/data systems.Ability to perform physical work in an industrial environment, maintaining safety and quality standards.Top Requirements4+ years of electrical experience, apprenticeship completion preferredValid electrical licenses/certificationsStrong understanding of electrical distribution, motor controls, and automation systems.About Seneca ResourcesAt Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm, we are a trusted career partner.
