Hourly Pay Range:$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Po sit i on H i gh li ghts:Position: Medical Assistant/Patient Support AssistantLocation: Chicago-Lakeview ClinicFull Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week)Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00AM-7:00PM, start times varied; 1 Saturday per monthWhat you will do:Answer phonesSchedule appointmentsCollect co-paymentsComplete patient registrationProvide other administrative support to the physician practiceCheck in and check out patientVerify insurancesProvide front office support as neededReview and respond to patient in-basket messagesMedication refillsWhat you will need:Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not requiredCertification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not requiredExperience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.
