If you're ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter - and build a career with a company that's building North America - we want to hear from you!ABOUT THE ROLEMobile Equipment Operator - Level II position is a key positon transporting materials terials throughout the quarry into piles, trucks or crushers, depending upon production/shipping requirements.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH \n\nPrimary operations of front end loaders (993s, 992s, 988s, 980s, etc.), dozers, backhoes, grader, excavators and skid steer loaders.\nDepending upon quarry operational requirements, operating mobile equipment to include, but not limited to front end loaders (993s, 992s, 980s, etc.), haul trucks, dozers, backhoes, grader, fuel truck, dredge and skid steer loaders\nInspect all operating equipment each shift, complete inspection sheets and report problems.\nCorrect malfunctions or irregularities of operating equipment and safety hazards or report to quarry supervisor if corrections cannot be made.\nDo any cleanup that is necessary to have a better and safer working environment.\nTaking accurate and reliable counts of material additions as required.\nMaintain strong communication with quality personnel and make adjustment to material blends as required\nCommunicate all safety, maintenance and production needs.\nOther responsibilities as assigned.\nDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.\n\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\nEducation Preferred: High School Diploma or GED. Ability to read and write.Required Work Experience: Experience working in varying weather elements. Quarry experience preferred.Additional Requirements:\n\nExperienced with operating/maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment\nAbility to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions\nSelf-motivated with a solid work ethic\nHighly dependable, ability to work in fast paced environment.\nAbility to learn plant flow, plant operations and screening\nHave the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.\nPrevious experience in a construction or quarry environment preferred\nThis job requires shift work, callouts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekend and holiday work. Employees may have the work schedule adjusted on short notice.\nSuccessful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
