Their engineering team drives innovation through automation and robotics, delivering scalable, reliable solutions for next-generation farms.What You’ll DoLead design, development, and commissioning of automation and robotics systems, including PLCs, HMIs, motion control, and safety systems.Program and optimize robotic operations and control logic (Allen-Bradley, Ignition, Yaskawa/Fanuc/KUKA).Design, model, and prototype automation systems using 2D/3D CAD; support integration with SCADA and data acquisition tools.Collaborate across Engineering, Operations, and Plant Science teams to define system requirements.Manage vendors and integrators, oversee testing, and troubleshoot systems onsite as needed.Lead small teams and mentor engineers, providing guidance and performance support.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Robotics Engineering.3+ years in industrial automation, and system integration.Strong PLC/HMI skills (Allen-Bradley required), motion control, pneumatics, SCADA, and industrial networking.Hands-on experience with robot end effector design, CAD, prototyping, and electrical schematics.Proficient in Python or C++.Nice-to-HavesLeadership and team management experience.Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and communication skills.Startup mindset with focus, ownership, and bias for action.
