They will ensure both technical and non-technical team members have access to the data they need to inform their decision-making processes. The Senior Analyst contribute to the BI team goal of creating data products and solutions that scale across our portfolio of clients.What You'll DoDevelop and enhance the data and analytics capabilities of Horizon Next - 70%Lead and own data modeling and reporting efforts for individual clients to ensure internal and client teams have the data they need to plan and optimize their media campaignsPartner with senior BI team members on cross-client data modeling and reporting efforts to make data as accessible as possible throughout Horizon NextBring together disparate data sources by building data models that can be used by both technical and non-technical stakeholdersCreate and maintain automated data tests to ensure high data quality across all data modelsCollaborate with Data Engineering team members to bring new data sources into our data warehouse and add them into new data modelsBuild and prototype new data products that can increase the BI team's offerings and capabilitiesBuild data visualizations and dashboards to surface trends and insights to business teams and clientsMentor and level up the skills of your teammates through collaboration and by sharing your expertiseDrive education and adoption of data products across teams - 30%Act as a liaison between the Horizon Next Analytics team and other internal teams on matters related to data sources, data access, and reporting availabilityEducate non-technical team members on our data products and how best to use data to inform their decision-making processWork with Horizon Next clients to understand their data and create meaningful KPIs for media campaignsWho You AreYou have experience in the media, advertising, or direct-response industriesYou have a background in data or analytics but are more interested in building processes, automation, and tooling than providing insights and recommendationsYou have a history of automating and improving processes to reduce time spent on manual workYou have a strong background in SQL and some experience with Python in a work environmentYou have a proven history of working effectively with both business and engineering/technical teamsSkills & ExperienceRequiredUndergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or comparable experience2-4 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a similar field2-3 years of experience in media, advertising, or similar industry2-3 years using SQL in a work environment1-2 years of experience using Python or a similar programming language in a work environment1-2 years of experience with a cloud data warehouse like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or SnowflakePreferredExperience with Git or a similar version control systemExperience with a query engine like Presto, Hive, or Spark SQLExperience with BI or dashboard tools like Tableau, Looker, or DomoExperience with dbt (data build tool)Certificates, Licenses and RegistrationsNo requirements for certificates, licenses and registrations.Physical Activity and Work EnvironmentPrefer candidate who can work east-coast hours.
