Medical Device Assembly Technician
Job Summary:The company is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Test Technician to support the production, assembly, and testing of high-quality electronic medical instruments in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for electronic component testing, electromechanical assembly, documentation accuracy, and adherence to strict quality procedures. The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing or medical device testing and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting.Key Responsibilities:• Perform testing of electronic components and assemblies using automated test equipment• Complete mechanical assembly of electromechanical subassemblies and finished devices as required• Read, interpret, and follow written procedures, verbal instructions, engineering drawings, and schematics• Maintain accurate production documentation, traceability logs, and device history records• Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency• Troubleshoot assembly or testing issues related to electronic components and instruments• Prioritize daily workload based on production schedules and operational urgency• Ensure compliance with quality systems, safety procedures, and regulated manufacturing standards• Collaborate effectively with technicians, production personnel, and cross-functional teams• Support operational initiatives as assigned by leadershipRequired Qualifications:• High School Diploma or equivalent required• Associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or related technical discipline preferred• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic testing, electromechanical assembly, or electronics manufacturing• Experience working with automated test equipment and production documentation• Ability to read engineering drawings, technical schematics, and assembly procedures• Strong understanding of mechanical and electronic component handling• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a highly regulated environmentPreferred Qualifications:• Experience in medical device manufacturing or another highly regulated production industry• Experience troubleshooting and testing electronic assemblies• Familiarity with IPC standards, GMP, ISO, or FDA-regulated environments• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills• Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative production team• Flexibility to work scheduled overtime when neededBenefits:The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.Pay Range: $18/hr to $20/hr
