This role supports foster families through the recertification process, monitors compliance requirements, coordinates documentation and training, and provides office and administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations.This position also serves as a key point of contact for foster families, helping maintain strong relationships and supporting homes in remaining compliant and prepared throughout their foster care journey.Key ResponsibilitiesFamily Services SupportServe as the primary contact for foster families within the assigned regionConduct Quarterly Management Reports (QMRs) and ensure resource home inspections are completed according to licensing standardsManage the recertification process for foster families, ensuring full regulatory complianceMaintain comprehensive and up-to-date family files in accordance with Virginia licensing standardsSupport foster families by helping connect them to appropriate resources and servicesMaintain timely and accurate documentation in both electronic health records and paper filesCoordinate respite services and related documentationMonitor required foster parent training hours to ensure complianceParticipate in the agency's on-call rotation, including crisis response and emergency placementsClinical Services SupportMaintain child files for youth in careCoordinate documentation and file management with clinical case managers, clinical leads, and compliance staffOffice Support & Administrative DutiesAssist with daily office coverage, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and distributing mail/faxesOrder and maintain office and marketing supply inventorySupport planning and coordination of team, family, and holiday eventsAttend required meetings, trainings, and supervision sessionsPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related human services field requiredMinimum of three (3) years of experience working with the child welfare populationKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systemsStrong understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA requirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong customer service and relationship-building skillsAbility to maintain accurate records and documentationAdditional RequirementsValid Virginia driver's license requiredAbility to travel up to two hours one-way for visitsAvailability to work evenings and weekends as neededParticipation in rotating on-call responsibilities requiredMust complete required trainingsWhat We OfferWe value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and work-life balance, including:Comprehensive benefits package with company-paid benefitsGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO)6 paid holidays plus your birthday as a paid holidaySupportive and collaborative team cultureOpportunities for professional development and trainingMeaningful work that positively impacts children and familiesJoin Our TeamIf you are committed to supporting foster families, ensuring compliance excellence, and making a lasting difference in the community, we would love to hear from you.Apply today to become part of a team dedicated to serving children and families with compassion, professionalism, and purpose. xaygatp This role will be required to undergo and clear both a CPS and a Criminal Background Check upon acceptance of an offer.
