Learn more about our mission, team, and accomplishments at sessleybuilding.com.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, OH, for a Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. The role involves managing contractors, coordinating logistics, conducting inspections, and maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include problem-solving, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.QualificationsMinimum of 7 years experience in Construction Project Management or Estimating, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocationEstablish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.Supervise total construction efforts to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, AE representatives, other contractors, etc.Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site superintendent to ensure project is built to schedule and within budget. Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with clients.Keep upper management informed as to the progress of the project, its financial status, and current Owner-Architect relations.   Facilitate the development of all personnel assigned to the Senior Project ManagerStrong Logistics Management skills, including coordinating resources, vendors, and timelines effectivelyExceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in project management tools and softwareBachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred)5+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projectsKnowledge of construction means & methods, construction safety, local building codes and regulations is preferred
