Position Overview: The Chapter Administrator for NAWBO Santa Barbara plays a pivotal role in supporting the board members, committees, and overall operations of the chapter. This position is essential for maintaining smooth communication between the board, committees, and members while ensuring the efficient management of administrative tasks. The Chapter Administrator embodies NAWBO's mission and values, serving as the professional representative of the organization. The ideal candidate is mission-driven, courteous, kind, collaborative, and dedicated to providing a seamless experience for all stakeholders.NAWBO Mission: NAWBO propels women entrepreneurs into economic, social, and political spheres of power worldwide by:Strengthening the wealth-creating capacity of our members and promoting economic development within the entrepreneurial community.Creating innovative and effective change in the business culture.Building strategic alliances, coalitions, and affiliations.Transforming public policy and influencing opinion makers.Key Responsibilities:Manage chapter communications, including emails, postal mail, and phone messages.Maintain and update key documents, calendars, and membership records.Oversee chapter operations, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.Keep the NAWBO-SB website and Member Directory updated with accurate information.Collaborate on the creation and distribution of promotional materials for events and communications.Lead logistics for chapter events, including venue management, registrations, and material preparation.Spearhead the Annual BRAVO Awards Ceremony, ensuring seamless execution and high engagement.Draft and send communications via email and social media, ensuring consistent and timely updates.Manage relationships with Corporate Partners, ensuring they are engaged and represented in chapter activities.Handle financial processes, including deposits, reporting, and insurance management, in collaboration with the Treasurer.Support committees with scheduling, communication, and documentation.Maintain organized records and ensure smooth daily operations, including document management and mail handling.Top Critical Outcomes:Efficient and Professional Operations: Ensure the chapter’s operations, communications, and events are managed smoothly, professionally, and in alignment with NAWBO’s mission and values.Positive Member and Partner Engagement: Foster strong relationships with members, sponsors, and partners through effective communication, timely updates, and seamless event coordination.Successful Event Execution: Coordinate and execute successful events, including the Annual BRAVO Awards Ceremony, resulting in high participation, positive feedback, and enhanced visibility for the chapter.Qualifications:Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to track time/hours and maintain documented processes.Proficiency in Google Suite (Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Docs).Experience with website management (WordPress preferred) and Constant Contact.Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and general financial processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating courtesy, professionalism, and a commitment to NAWBO’s mission and values.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with board members and committees.Previous experience in a similar administrative role is preferred.Alignment with NAWBO’s mission and culture, with a commitment to being a mission partner.Application Instructions: Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their qualifications and experience relevant to this position.
