We owe our success to the quality of our employees, our strong commitment to safety, and our superior service to our customers.OverviewThe Manager, Integrations & Special Projects plays a critical role in leading the integration of acquired businesses into USA Compression's platforms, processes, and operating model. This role will be a key member of the Integration Management Office (IMO) and serve as the quarterback across Finance, Accounting, Operations, IT, Commercial, HR, and other functional teams to ensure integrations are executed efficiently and consistently, while leveraging best practices.This role is ideal for a high-performing individual with consulting or corporate integration experience who thrives in ambiguity, can influence effectively, and is comfortable working directly with senior leaders across a lean, highly engaged organization. The role combines structured program management with executive-level communication, governance, and problem-solving, while also supporting select enterprise-wide special projects, including opportunities to integrate AI-enabled tools and develop change management roadmaps.Key ResponsibilitiesIntegration Management Office (IMO) Cross-functional LeadHelp lead the Integration Management Office (IMO) for acquisitions, executing against the overall integration framework, governance model, and master timeline.Identify, onboard, and coordinate cross-functional workstream leaders (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Operations, IT, Commercial, HR), ensuring clarity of ownership and accountability.Support workstream leaders as they define clear Target Operating Models, detailed project plans, interdependencies, and risks for their respective areas.Program Execution & DeliveryOwn and maintain the master integration plan, tracking progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies across all workstreams.Actively challenge assumptions, timelines, and scope to drive timely, high-quality execution.Identify issues early, facilitate cross-functional problem-solving, and drive resolution, escalating material risks, trade-offs, and decision points as appropriate.Stakeholder Leadership & Executive CommunicationServe as the day-to-day integration lead working closely with senior leadership across the organization.Participate in Steering Committee meetings, capturing decisions, actions, and follow-ups, and ensuring alignment across teams.Maintain strong, credible relationships with functional leaders, influencing outcomes without direct authority.Change Management & EnablementSupport development of practical change management and communication roadmaps to drive adoption of new processes, systems, and operating models.Partner with functional leaders to ensure integration decisions consider organizational readiness and execution risk.Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, or digital tools to improve integration efficiency, reporting, and decision-making over time.Special Projects* Support select enterprise-level initiatives and strategic projects as needed, applying integration and program management best practices to complex, cross-functional efforts.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.8+ years of progressive experience in management consulting, corporate integration, transformation, or cross-functional program management roles within mid-to-large organizations.Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-workstream initiatives with competing priorities and tight timelines.Strong executive communication skills, with experience preparing materials for and interacting with senior leadership teams.Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, challenge constructively, and drive results without formal authority.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguity while maintaining structure and discipline.Preferred QualificationsManagement consulting experience (e.g., Big 4, strategy, or deal advisory), particularly in integration, transformation, or large-scale program delivery.Experience supporting post-acquisition integrations or carve-ins.Familiarity with large ERP or enterprise system environments (specifically SAP), from a business coordination and governance perspective.Exposure to asset-intensive, operationally complex industries.Experience integrating new tools, analytics, or AI-enabled capabilities into business processes.
