Oilfield Sales Manager - Permian Basin

OILFIELD SALES MANAGER – Permian BasinMidland/Odessa, Texas AreaJ MAR’s client, a well-established industrial supply and distribution company serving the energy sector, is seeking an Oilfield Sales Manager to drive business development across the Permian Basin, expanding the company’s OCTG, line pipe, and MRO business.This is a newly created role focused on expanding the company’s presence in one of the most active energy markets in the country. While the company has an established regional footprint, there is significant opportunity to grow market share and win new business across key customer segments.This is a true outside sales/business development role focused on opening doors and winning new business.RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across upstream, midstream, natural gas utility, and adjacent industrial customers.Build, expand, and develop a meaningful customer portfolio throughout the Permian Basin.Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to win new customer relationships and grow market share.Promote OCTG, line pipe, and MRO products, along with value-added solutions such as inventory programs, warehouse management, and automation offerings.Partner with Regional VPs, corporate sales, and operations teams to support new account development and onboarding.Work with legal to negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs).Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.Call on customers throughout the Permian Basin, including operator offices, field locations, and related customer sites.WHY THIS ROLEOpportunity to significantly expand the company’s presence in a high-activity market.Ability to build and grow a meaningful book of business within an established regional footprint.Competitive compensation including base salary and commission.Comprehensive benefits package.Remote role with flexibility to work from home or the company’s Permian Basin office, as needed.Backed by a company with decades of industry presence and a strong reputation for consistency and service.Operational and leadership support to help convert opportunities into long-term customer relationships.REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree preferred; relevant industry experience will also be considered.5+ years of outside sales/business development experience in the energy industry.Strong presence and established relationships in the Permian Basin required.Demonstrated success winning new business and developing customer relationships.Strong understanding of OCTG, line pipe, and/or MRO products.Highly self-motivated and comfortable operating independently in a field-based sales environment.TRAVELExtensive travel throughout the Permian Basin and surrounding regions is required.ABOUT J MARCelebrating over 30 years of excellence in energy recruiting, J MAR & Associates is a trusted leader in talent acquisition.
