We provide comprehensive rehabilitation programs customized to the unique needs of each patient and believe that individualized care is essential to a successful rehabilitation journey.Role DescriptionThe Speech Therapist will provide teletherapy services to individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries, focusing on speech, communication, language, and swallowing disorders. Day-to-day tasks include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluationsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs Treat speech, communication, language, and dysphagia-related swallowing disordersMonitor and document client progress in the designated EMRCollaborate with case managers and interdisciplinary rehabilitation team membersEducate clients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and goalsQualificationsMaster’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programActive California SLP license in good standingASHA certification (CCC-SLP)Expertise in speech therapy evaluation and treatmentStrong knowledge of speech, communication, and language disordersExperience treating dysphagia and swallowing disordersExperience working with neurological populations (TBI, SCI, stroke, or related conditions)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary teamExperience in home-based or community-based care is a plusSpanish-speaking is a plusWhy Join NeuroPraxis?Flexible independent contractor schedule.Opportunity to work in-home and community settings, making a direct impact on clients’ lives.Collaborative, supportive interdisciplinary team.Exposure to innovative rehabilitation tools and technology.How to ApplyApply via LinkedIn or send your resume and cover letter to .
