Description:Job Type: Part TimePosition: Middle School Athletic CoachDescriptionThe Athletic Coach is responsible for leading and developing a successful athletic program that supports the academic, social, emotional, and athletic growth of student-athletes. Coaches are expected to model professionalism, sportsmanship, integrity, and leadership while creating a safe, structured, and positive team culture aligned with the mission and vision of the school athletic program.Coaches must promote student-athlete development, academic accountability, discipline, teamwork, and a college-ready mindset through daily instruction, communication, and program leadership.Focus AreasSkill progression and competitive development Accountability, discipline, and athletic growth Preparing athletes for high school athletics Reinforcing academic and behavioral expectations Middle School Coach ExpectationsDevelop foundational competitive skills and game strategy Build structure, accountability, and team discipline Help student-athletes transition into advanced athletic expectationsSupport leadership development and confidence building Reinforce time management, attendance, and academic responsibilityRequirements:QualificationsPrevious coaching and/or playing experience preferred Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, families, and administration Knowledge of sport-specific rules, strategies, and player development Ability to supervise and manage student-athletes effectively Must meet all district and athletic compliance requirementsWork ExpectationsAvailability for practices, games, meetings, and team events outside regular school hours Ability to travel for athletic events as assigned Ability to supervise students in indoor and outdoor athletic environments Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and conduct at all timesCompensation: Stipend Position
