Financial Analyst

We have an exciting long-term contract opportunity for a Financial Analyst with a state agency here in Austin. This role will use multiple tools and data sources in the financial analysis and forecasting of the IT Project PortfolioResponsibilities:Review project demands and resource allocation plans for managed service providers as well as internal staff.Prepare funds transfers and monitor federal funding reimbursements for eligible IT purchases.Review IT purchase requests and monitor the daily activity related to operating and capital expenses.Participate in the monthly reconciliation of the IT budget, encumbrances, and expenses.Minimum Requirements5+ years of experience in financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc.5+ years of experience analyzing Financial Management Systems / Processes5+ years of experience with budgeting methods and procedures5+ years of experience communicating and maintaining effective working relationships with others5+ years of experience preparing and maintaining confidential and sensitive records, files, and reportsWhat We OfferOpportunity to lead a high-impact, enterprise-wide data transformation initiative Collaborative and mission-driven work environment serving the public sectorCompetitive compensation and benefits, including health, dental, vision, life, and accident insurance, short-term disability insurance, and moreLuna Data Solutions, Inc.
