Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Certified Nurse Aide will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident assessments and care plans.Essential FunctionsAssist resident in customary daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair, nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to callsCarry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedureMeasure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge NurseDetect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuriesContributes knowledge of resident's conditions/needs to resident care plansObserve and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents to Charge NurseEducational/Training RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferred but to requiredLicensing RequirementsMust hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) licenseExperience RequirementsExperience in a long-term care facility is preferredMust be at least 16 years of agePhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative but not necessary all inclusive, of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
