You'll collaborate with a talented team of network engineers both onsite and remotely to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our critical DDI services.Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Premise DDI Management (80%)Design, implement, and manage enterprise DDI infrastructure using Infoblox solutionsAdminister DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) across on-premise data centers and campus networksMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize DDI services to ensure 99.9%+ availabilityPerform capacity planning and infrastructure scaling for growing network demandsManage Infoblox appliance upgrades, patches, and maintenance windowsImplement security best practices for DDI infrastructure, including DNSSEC and access controlsRespond to and resolve DDI-related incidents and service requestsMaintain accurate IP address allocation and subnet management across the enterpriseCloud Platform Integration (10%)Integrate on-premise DDI services with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)Manage hybrid DNS architectures spanning on-premise and cloud environmentsCollaborate on cloud migration projects requiring DDI service extensionsSupport cloud-based applications with appropriate DNS and IP managementAutomation & Service Development (10%)Provide guidance for development of automation tools to streamline DDI operationsAssist with the creation of self-service capabilities for common DDI requestsImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for DDI configurationsBuild monitoring and alerting solutions for proactive service managementGeneral ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation for DDI architecture, configurations, and proceduresCollaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams on cross-functional projectsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team membersParticipate in change management processes and on-call rotationStay current with industry trends and emerging DDI technologiesQualifications:Strong hands-on experience with Infoblox DDI solutions (NIOS, Grid architecture, DNS, DHCP, IPAM)Deep understanding of DNS protocols (including DNSSEC), DHCP operations, and IP address managementExperience managing enterprise-scale on-premise network infrastructureProficiency in troubleshooting complex network and DDI issuesStrong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLAN design, and routing protocolsExperience with network monitoring and management toolsExcellent documentation and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in both onsite and remote collaborative environments
