Job Description:Be one of the first applicants, read the complete overview of the role below, then send your application for consideration.Gastroenterologist Opportunity in Bay City, MI Join a thriving medical community at a contemporary facility in Bay City, Michigan.We are seeking TWO Gastroenterologists to establish and grow a new practice.You will be working within an environment that prides itself on high-quality care and advanced medical technology, including a new ambulatory endoscopy surgery center, while benefiting from a supportive staff focused on efficient Responsibilities Perform ambulatory endoscopy procedures and inpatient ERCP and EUS, with a specialization in ERCP and EUS required.Support an efficient patient flow through the endoscopy care with highly trained staff.Participate in call coverage on a 1:3 rotation, including shared support from Hospitalists.Work in a single hospital coverage model.Utilize Cerner EMR for patient records.Engage with two colorectal surgeons in the community for collaborative care.Maintain a GI clinic location conveniently less than half a mile from the hospital.Qualifications Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.Valid Michigan medical license (or in process).Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).Demonstrated ability to specialize in ERCP and EUS.Possession of a current DEA license (must be obtained prior to start).Possession of a CSR/CDS license (must be obtained prior to start).License and Certification Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.DEA license required (must be obtained prior to start).CSR/CDS license required (must be obtained prior to start).Explore the vibrant city of Bay City, where charming waterfront views meet rich cultural experiences.Enjoy outdoor activities, festivals, and a close-knit community atmosphere while making a meaningful impact in the field of gastroenterology. xmcpwfu
