Manufacturing Test Engineering Technician
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Test Engineering Technician to join our Manufacturing Test Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting, maintaining, and improving manufacturing test systems, including Functional Circuit Test (FCT) solutions.This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and regulated manufacturing environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure test system reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Manufacturing Test Engineers to support FCT processes and test system requirementsMaintain, troubleshoot, and repair PCBA FCT fixtures and test stands (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic)Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) to ensure system uptime and reliabilitySupport test systems including PCs, DMMs, power supplies, switches, and interfacesDiagnose and resolve test system failures impacting production yield and throughputAssist in debugging hardware and software issues related to FCT systemsExecute fixture validation and verification after maintenance or design changesSupport fixture builds, modifications, and ECO implementationsMaintain accurate documentation (PM logs, repair records, calibration status)Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teamsEnsure compliance with ESD, safety, quality, and regulatory standardsParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiativesRequired QualificationsAssociate degree OR 3+ years of experience in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience supporting FCT systems in manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and FDA regulationsHands-on experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering, and assembly toolsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with root cause analysis experienceSelf-driven with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasksStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periodsPreferred QualificationsExperience with LabVIEW, TestStand, or similar automated test platformsExperience in PCBA manufacturing environmentsBasic programming or scripting (Python, VB, C#, etc.)Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationExperience working in ISO 13485 or FDA-regulated environmentsStrong attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset
