They pride themselves on being a full-service solution provider, beginning as a family business and growing into a highly successful business serving many states across the US!They are now looking for a Commercial Solutions Manager to work crossfunctionally as the SMA for the solar energy industry and technologies, as well as the national electric code & building code, industry and engineering standards. The ideal candidate will be able to take responsibility for the Designer and Estimator teams, whilst also collaborating with Operations, Sales & Project Management teams also.You WillOversee and manage the workflow of design and estimating teams to align with operational and sales needs.Develop and implement procedures and processes for the commercial solutions team.Conduct energy analysis for commercial and industrial energy users to assess economic impacts of PV and BESS projects.Collaborate with external engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to specify equipment requirements and answer technical questions.Manage design tools, databases, and administer tasks related to PV systems, BESS, NEC, and industry standards.You Must HaveExtensive experience in the solar energy industry, particularly in the design and installation of photovoltaic systems.Previous managerial experience, with a proven ability to lead design and estimating teams.Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), building codes, and engineering standards.Proficiency in using spreadsheets, CRM, ERP, and the ability to learn new software programs.Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with leaders across departments.
