If you're looking for a meaningful place to grow and make an impact, we want to hear from you!What You Will DoIndustrialize New ECF ProductsDesign and launch ECF (engineered composite foam) production processes from concept through start of productionDevelop process flows, layouts, equipment specs, tooling requirements, and launch timelinesLead equipment commissioning and validate production readinessBuild clear work instructions and SOPs that drive safe, consistent performanceOwn the Process on the FloorProvide hands-on engineering support to daily ECF operationsTroubleshoot materials, tooling, and process parameter challengesPartner with Operations to hit yield, cycle time, and scrap targetsDrive root cause analysis and corrective actionsDrive Innovation in Composite Foam ManufacturingEvaluate new materials, equipment technologies, and process methodsSupport trials, pilots, and validation activitiesBalance innovation with cost, manufacturability, and qualityLead Continuous Improvement & VAVEIdentify and execute Value Analysis/Value Engineering initiativesImprove labor efficiency, material utilization, and equipment performanceStandardize best practices across applicable TSM facilitiesEnsure Automotive-Level Quality & ComplianceSupport PFMEA, control plans, and process validation activitiesEnsure alignment with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3 standardsMaintain disciplined documentation and change managementWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Materials, or related)3-7 years of manufacturing or process engineering experienceExperience with foam, composites, plastics, or chemically driven manufacturing processes preferredProven experience industrializing products from design through launchWorking knowledge of Lean, VAVE, root cause problem solvingFamiliarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, PFMEA, and control plansAbility to travel up to 20% for launches and trialsWhy Join UsHealth & Wellness: Affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, including an innovative global healthcare option for qualified participants.Retire: 401(k) with company match, fully vested from day one.Paid Time Off: Competitive PTO: 3 Weeks of Vacation + 9 company paid holidays.On-Site Medical Clinics: Free for you and covered dependents.Teladoc: 24/7 access with no copay.Professional Development: Tuition reimbursement, professional development assistance and career growth opportunities.Discounts: Enjoy discounts with HSM partners, including Dollywood Parks & Resort, Verizon Wireless, and more.EEOCAt HSM, we believe that our diversity creates a productive workplace.
