Graphic Designer / Marketing Assistant
Michigan Location: FraserWe are seeking a creative, reliable, and motivated Graphic Designer to assist the Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career who is looking to grow their skills while working hands-on across both graphic design and marketing initiatives. You will collaborate with a talented team of photographers, videographers, and designers to support visual branding, marketing campaigns, and company events. In addition to design work, this role includes marketing coordination, event support, and general marketing tasks that help keep projects moving smoothly.Responsibilities Design and produce marketing materials, includingSocial media graphics and digital adsPrint materials (flyers, brochures, signage, presentations)Branded and internal marketing assetsCreate graphics for video, such asVisual overlays and graphic iconsTitles and lower thirdsUpdate and revise creative assets as neededEnsure all creative aligns with brand guidelinesAssist with marketing campaigns and ongoing initiativesWrite and assist with captions for videos and social media contentContribute content ideas for social media, campaigns, and internal communicationsSupport planning and execution of promotions and marketing effortsEvents, Culture & Internal Marketing:Assist with the idea development and execution of staff appreciation days, internal events, and employee giftsHelp plan, organize, and set up company events and initiativesAssist with coordinating logistics, materials, and on-site support for events and campaignsCollaborate and support the marketing team by working closely with photographers, videographers, and designersManage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environmentAssist with marketing errands, organization, and day-to-day support tasksContribute ideas and creative input in team discussionsQualificationsEntry to mid-level experience or education in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldProficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); After Effects or Premiere Pro a plus but not requiredStrong writing skills for short-form content (captions, headlines, internal messaging)Creative thinker with strong attention to detailOrganized, dependable, and comfortable working on-sitePositive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn and help where neededExperience with social media or content marketingVideo-related design experience, preferred not requiredFamiliarity with branding and marketing strategy
