Assistant Controller

Their mission is to care for the spaces people rely on. Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for an Assistant Controller. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations including financial reporting, general ledger management, reconciliations, and assisting with audits. Additional responsibilities include budget preparation, identifying process improvements, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Qualifications Expertise in financial reporting, general ledger management, and account reconciliationsProficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisFamiliarity with regulatory compliance, internal controls, and audit supportExperience with accounting systems/software and proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities effectivelyBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is a plusPrevious experience in the facilities management industry is beneficial
