Fabricator/Shop Foreman

Job Description Busy Ornamental metal fabrication shop looking for experienced fabricator with experience in MIG and TIG welding on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.Responsibilities Include:Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.Install and repair various ornamental metal, equipment and components.Follow architectural and shop drawings to meet product requirements.Accurately understand and execute designs;Calculate material measurements to specifications.Meet with Project Managers and GC's to coordinate fabrication and installationLead crews of 2-8 on site installations and/or shop projectsConsult with team members during life of project.Meeting with Project Managers during approval phase prior to fabricationFull understanding of scope of workEfficiently delegate duties to shop employees for fabricationRepresent company on site during installation phase.Discuss and troubleshoot with team members and clients.Experience:Previous experience in fabrication shop, or related field.Understanding and implementing welding proceduresOperating welding machinesUse of additional machinery preferred: Brake, Shear, Plasma table, etc.Reading blueprints and schematicsCompany DescriptionFast growing design and fabrication shop.
