This role involves transporting heavy construction equipment, hauling spoils from job sites, and delivering aggregates such as stone, sand, and gravel. If you're a safety-focused driver who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, this position is a strong match.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely transport construction equipment (excavators, skid steers, loaders, etc.) using lowboy, flatbed, or similar trailersHaul spoils, dirt, debris, and construction materials from job sitesDeliver stone, sand, gravel, and other aggregates to various project locationsPerform accurate pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsSecure loads using chains, binders, straps, and proper tie-down proceduresNavigate construction sites and uneven terrain with caution and professionalismCommunicate with dispatch and site supervisors regarding schedules, delays, or issuesReport mechanical concerns and assist with basic vehicle checksQualificationsValid CDL Class A licenseClean driving record with 2 years of Class A experienceExperience hauling construction equipment and/or aggregatesAbility to operate dump trailers, lowboys, or flatbeds (specify as needed)Strong understanding of DOT and Pennsylvania hauling regulationsAbility to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor job-site conditionsReliable, safety-minded, and able to work independentlyAbility to safely operate construction equipment to independently load and unload equipment and or materials.Preferred SkillsExperience with Pennsylvania construction sites and local quarriesFamiliarity with hauling spoils and aggregate delivery proceduresKnowledge of tie-down requirements for heavy equipmentExperience with manual transmissions (if applicable)Strong communication and customer-service mindsetWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly or load-based payOvertime opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time off and holidaysSupportive dispatch and operations team
