API Analyst

Role: API AnalystRole DescriptionAs a Data Analyst, you would be defining, designing and documenting the interactions between software components. This involves defining different endpoints, specifying all the formats to be used, and creating the swagger that forms part of the API. You should have experience with strong security and performance considerations for these services.Mandatory SkillsRequired minimum of 6+ years professional experience designing and developing Rest APIs and other (Kafka) DataStreaming servicesExperience on UML or BPMN, workflow designWorking knowledge of SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, XSD, WDL, PostmanExperience working with Oracle, Mongo DB and SQLTechnical writing skills, good oral and written communications and presentation skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamKey ResponsibilitiesDesign new as well as update Rest API and Kafka event ServicesDefine endpoints, data formats, and authentication methods, while also considering factors like security, performance, and best practicesUnderstand business requirements and translate them to API DesignBuild integration solution with IBM MDM AE product, Mongo DB and KafkaImplement API design best practices and use modern API design patternsSupport technical planning, estimation, development, testing and AT supportParticipate in production incident analysis and issue resolutionWork in Agile environment using JIRA and Confluence tools
